Visitor Policy

At Anna Murray Douglass Academy School 12 we work hard to encourage parents and community members to visit our school and see our staff and students in action.  In order to create a safe and productive learning environment, we ask that the following procedures be followed when visiting our school and classrooms.  If you wish to visit your child's teacher, please contact the teacher 24 hours in advance. Thank you.
 

 School Visitation Guidelines

Please assist us by following these procedures:                

· Please report to the main office.  Sign in, state your business and obtain a pass.  Please wear your pass the entire time you are visiting School 12.

· The office staff will notify the teacher of your visit.  We ask that you leave siblings at home.

· Upon entering the classroom, please find a comfortable location to observe, without interrupting direct instruction.

· Please leave a written note for the teacher in the office if you would like a personal conference.

· Visits should be limited to 30 minutes. We request no visitors after 1:45 so we may prepare our children for dismissal.

· You are welcome to eat lunch with your child in the Kick-a-Poo cafe.  For safety reasons, please let the lunch aide know you are taking your child from the lunchroom.  Unfortunately, your child’s friends must remain in the lunchroom.

  Guia Para Visitas a la Escuela

 FAVOR DE SEGUIR ESTAS PAUTAS PARA VISITAR LA ESCUELA:

· DEBE DE REPORTARSE A LA OFICINA PARA REGISTRARSE,  ANUNCIAR EL PROPOSITO DE SU VISITA, Y OBTENER UN PASE.

· EL PERSONAL DEBE NOTIFICAR AL MAESTRO DE SU VISITA. NO SE PERMITEN NINOS EN LAS VISITAS AL SALON DE CLASES.

· UNA VEZ LLEGUE AL SALON, BUSQUE UN SITIO COMODO DONDE SENTARSE QUE NO INTERRUMPA EL PROCESO EDUCATIVO.

· SI DESEA HABLAR CON EL MAESTRO, FAVOR DE DEJAR UNA NOTA EN LA OFICINA.

· LE SUGERIMOS LIMITE SU VISTA A NO MAS DE 30 MINUTOS. NO SE PERMITEN VISITAS DESPUES DE LAS 1:45 

· SE DESEA, SE PUEDA ALMORZAR CON SU HIJO/A EN EL KICK-A-POO, POR RAZONES DE SEGUIRDAD, FAVOR DE ANNUNCIAR A LA AYUDANTE DEL COMEDOR QUE LLEVE SU HIJO/A. LOS COMPANEROS DEL SALON DEBEN DE DEJARSE CON SU CLASE EN EL COMEDOR.
